We need your generous support to build the Tallest Islamic Center and School at our new location in Jamaica, NY, for our young future scholars.

Quran Academy for Young Scholars (QAFYS) is an Islamic educational institution unlike any other Islamic school that exists in America. It was created to produce influential scholars and leaders for the community. With this mission and vision in mind, QAFYS has been working since 2016 to change the lives of young Muslim students in New York City. QAFYS has three campuses with over 350 students range from grades 2nd to 12th. Students from and to 5th grade focusing on the memorization of the Holy Quran, engage in learning core academic subjects, such as English, Math, Science, and Social Studies; above all, gain fundamental Islamic knowledge. From 6th grade till 12th, students take on our unique and comprehensive Alim Course; while huffaz also take on our Ijazah Program; all the while maintaining core academic subjects that align with New York State standards.

Qur'an Academy for Young Scholars is an 11 year program where we educate and train our students to become future leaders and scholars who will be successful in both deen and dunya, in shaAllah. The main focus in grades 2 to 5 is hifz (memorizing the Quran), in addition to ALL academic subjects (math, ELA, science, and social studies), basics of Islam, and physical education. The main focus in grades 6 to 12 is in-depth Islamic Studies (7-Year 'Alim Course), in addition to ALL academic subjects, continuation/ review of their hifz, and physical education.

Help Build the Tallest Islamic School and Center in NYC

Our goal is to continue to expand.As of now, Qur'an Academy is dispersed into three centers; at Parkchester-Bronx, East Brooklyn, West Brooklyn, Main Campus - Jamaica, Queens (Coming soon). With our rapid growth, we are in more need of a proper establishment for our students. Currently our three campuses are not enough space for our students. We want to provide a facility where students have enough space to learn, have fun, and pray.

Dear brothers and sisters, we need your help. We bought a church site to build a 10-floor Islamic school and center with modern facilities and a safe Islamic environment. This will be the tallest Islamic building in New York City, InshaAllah. But to make this happen, we need $25 Million to demolish the old building and start construction.

With your support, we will build the tallest Islamic building in NYC—a place where future scholars and leaders will learn and grow. This is not just for today but for generations to come, offering education and inspiration for a brighter future, InshaAllah.
